Thank you! :)
Progress on this is slow but steady. This week I added the first boss fight. The story is beginning to take shape.

Still hyped for this!
In other September Games news I'm happy to report that Stilt Fella works perfectly on Steam Deck. I imagine it could have Verified status if not for the DualSense graphic in the tutorial. I played it for a couple hours and got up to the cyber levels, and it is definitely more intuitive for me with joysticks than on a keyboard.

I love all the little physics interactions between objects. A worthy successor to the Stilts ;D

Thanks! :)
Yeah I believe the Steam Deck report I got from Valve stated that some prompts in Stilt Fella are not Steam Deck specific, they might've meant the gamepad in the tutorial as well. Haven't gotten around to fixing anything. Might still do so. But glad to hear it runs well. :thumb:

You've got ABXY button prompts, so the only thing I could think of was the controller graphic. It works flawlessly otherwise, without any configuration. Most of the levels I played ran at 90 FPS with a few of the more intense ones at 60. And I didn't have to do any configuration.

That trailer's a lovely warm thing for a cold morning. Also, impeccable lounging there at the end.
Of course, I'm well aware that the actual game is going to be me being frustrated at the screen for minutes on end, because physics and I have had a love/hate relationship since college. But yeah, rock on. :thumb:

Eager to see what people think of this thing I've been working on for the last few years. Give it a whirl, would ya! :)

Ace, I'll DL it to my Steam Deck and give it a go :)

Okay, played some of the demo. Congrats on bringing this one out!
I get that it's very easy to just judge something on the basis of 20 minutes of play when it's got years of work put into it, but it's pretty clear that the pogo physics is very fine-tuned to be intuitive and requiring finesse at the same time. Huge success there, though I'm not a physics game aficionado by any means (to put it mildly), so take it for what it's worth. But really, it play smoothly and feels nice to control, which is pretty hard to pull off, as far as I understand it. Also, I really like that it recognises the DS4 and has the appropriate button prompts with zero fuss.
The audio's nice enough, and the mechanics are interesting (air walls are a pretty neat spin), but I also suck at physics games, so I stopped at about level 14. If there's any feedback I have, I think a gentler difficulty slope would be welcome in the jump from the first few levels to the rest. Also, what did happen to pogo fella?
