Alrighty, NEW GAME ANNOUNCEMENT! This is what I've been working on since wrapping up Crossing Guard Joe in March.

If you're thinking it looks a bit familiar, you might be right! Started prototyping this back in 2016, worked on it a lot in 2018 and shared a playable version with you good folks back then.
Although it might look like a simple lil 2D game, it's the most technologically advanced thing I've ever made. Mainly because of 2 big features: level editor and local multiplayer. The level editor took me a good 3-4 months to put together, and still has a bit to go before it's really
complete. But it was worth it, I'm making all the campaign levels in it now, and having users be able to make and share levels via Steam Workshop will add a lot to the game. Local Multiplayer is the main thing I'm working on at the moment. Have already had a few good test sessions with friends and it's a lot of fun.
Anyway, please wishlist! And if anyone is keen in testing it, let me know! Can always use more testers. :)

I must have missed the playable version in 2018, but this looks fun! I (still) think that the physics seem a bit "slow", it's like all the action is happening in slow motion, but maybe it'll feel right when I play it. :) I'd be interested in testing the game, but unfortunately I won't have much time for the next three months, so I'll just wish you good luck for now.

FUNKY BEATS ARE FUNKY
This looks awesome. Time for another physics viral success?!?

I got that impression too. Made me think it's meant to be more of a "chill/wholesome" physics game than "git gud" physics game ala Stilt Fella.
(Tho, purely from marketing perspective, I think a faster-paced trailer miiiight attract more eyes?)
Hmm, maybe have a Time Scale slider in settings as a difficulty/accessibility option?

The speed is something I've been increasing
throughout development as people have mentioned it's slow. And yes...

I actually added exactly this in the latest update! But setting it to 110% speed feels too fast. I really think it might be perfect they way it is. Might look slow, but it feels right when you're playing it.

No doubt, Game feel is a tricky beast :)

New teaser trailer, whadayathink? Fast enough for ya?

It's been only 2 months since the first trailer, but it was already starting to feel out-of-date. The speed of the game has been increased, and things like backgrounds and camera movement have been improved, so I decided to put together an updated teaser.

I like it! It's a detail, but I find the fade-in at the beginning too short; it feels like the song just starts in the middle, with too little of a lead-up to come across as a lead-up. But the footage gives me a sense of what the game is like and that it'll be fun.

I think that's the Henkeist game you've made yet.
Even if you put this out under a pseudonym, as soon as we saw it we'd probably all think of you.

Dang, that's a fantastic trailer
