PM bugged. - by zombe

I just noticed that none of my sent messages from last couple of times got saved. Weird, but i can live with it.
But shortly after that discovery i got a PM ... and it didn't get saved also => it did go straigh to void (without the possibility to read it).
My message box is far from being full - so, any ideas what is wrong?

It's happened to me too in the last few days - about 6 PMs I sent are not saved.

I just noticed the same thing the other day. The last PM in my sent folder was one from July 28, none since then had been saved. "That's odd" thought I, making a face like this :weird: "I wonder if teh gremlins have gotten to my settings?" So, I checked. Nope, still set to autosave sent PMs by default. Despite this, the "Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder." checkbox on PMs was not automatically checked...
[boring narrative outlining diagnostic steps - skip to end]To fix this:
1. Go to
TTLG Forums > User Control Panel > (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions) Edit Options, scroll down to
"Save Sent PMs By Default?" and set it to
No. Then
Save Changes using the button at the bottom.
2. Go back to the Edit Options page, this time setting the "Save Sent PMs..." option to "YES" and Save Changes.
I don't know what happened to make this go wonky, but the above fixed it for me. :)

I've just sent you a PM to test your theory. It works for me too.

Ok. Done that - we'll see if it works. Thanks.
Btw: the missing PM that got noted to me and was not present (even in export as txt) - showed up with the next PM i got. :weird:
