Please tell me this IS the most frustrating/difficult level in the game !!

Ok, first of all, I love this game. But this is my FIRST TIME playing it and .....:eek:

I am on the Cargo Bay Level, where I'm running back and forth between engineering A and B trying to power on the elevators.

Yikes....Things have become really really frustating right now.

1. I have limited ammo

2. Constantly low health (always below 10 points since there are no surgical units)

3. Many many enemies, most of which require ammo to take down. This is why problem number 1 is a major issue.

4. Kamikaze robots :( These guys make me pee my pants.

So...is this the hardest/most frustrating level? Please don't spoil the game for me, but I need to know. I need something to keep me going (or a reason to admit defeat to the jihad robots and give up :))

Yeah in a way.

Prioritize the wrench and your hacking skills. Don't shoot anything unless you have to.

The wrench can be used on all the Cargo Bay baddies except the protocol droids (obviously), but they can be taken out without needing to use a gun by using the corner-trick.

I was replaying ENG on Impossible yesterday and I remembered this neat trick: you can crush the maintenance droids under the cargo lifts when they're chasing you. Saves a lot of ammo.

To be perfectly honest I did die a few times trying to get them there :cheeky:

The Cargo Bays rock and are the best level in the whole game. Unless you're playing MP with 'someone' (*cough* raph *cough*) who insists on destroying your neatly hacked turrets :p

Hahaha I'm sure on 11th August 2019 when we reminisce the good old days on the TTLG holodeck I'll still hear about that one :laff:

I thought about it yesterday but didn't have hack skill 4 so... with only 30 seconds left before the security reset, they went to turret heaven once again. :sly:

Hack 4 is a *must* in all my games before I go down to Engineering. It just breaks my heart having to destroy any of those turrets :(

That's a tough level, because of the droids, but it's achievable. I once got all the way to the final level, within sight of the final enemy, before realizing that my character just didn't have the juice to get the rest of the way. Not knowing what I was supposed to do once I got there didn't help, either. There are some difficult levels, but don't let it spoil the game for you. It's not an easy game, but it's worth it.
