I wanted to edit this to my other post here .. but that's exactely where trouble starts:
Editing a message works like before. But if you try to edit the edited message again, and do it, the edit from before is gone! Apart from that, you don't see it in the text (that can be edited) either!
Oh yeah, and the reason I wanted to edit my post in the first place: The email notification link is wrong: it says www.ttlg.com/vbforums ... and doesn't get you anywhere. It works without the vb, though.

The vbforums/ stuff has been fixed.
As for the editing question.. once you make a post, you have 5 minutes to do all editing without the "Edited: 1:00:00pm" or whatever message appears. After that, it will start appearing.

might be .. but that's not what i've been telling you.
if you edit a post, and you edit it a second time, the first edit is gone afterwards, all you see is the second edit. if you edit it a third time, the second edit is gone, only the third one is visible. and so on.
get it?

That sounds very much as if your web browser is caching the contents of the editing form... the second time you make an edit it re-displays the cached copy of the page from the first time you edited it, and therefore the text you are editing is the same as it was when you first posted.
I can't imagine any other way to get the behaviour you describe.
What web browser/version/platform are you using??
