'No halo for me' is a member and an all too frequent user of AOL-speak or l33t as its sometimes called. Using the form "I'm looking at you" means that the poster in question is asking the other one to take heed.
There isn't that many in Fan-made Missions, the part of forums where you only post on. Of those that use l33t there, only a few are frequent posters, like 'no halo', or LordSoth.

Uhmm...could you stop using that signature thing with an angel-smilie? Everyone can see who you are from your name. No need for signing. Especially as the angel-thingie is fairly annoying.
Edit: Just checked: It was "I have no halo", not " no halo for me". Gripes, I'm sorry.

Gloria, you asked us to please humor you. I gave you a joke that was supposed to make you go, "Ha....ha", which is humorous. No one here is trying to be hurtful to you, but if you cannot grasp the English language and its nuances, maybe you should spend more time translating people's posts to your native Dutch or Flemish before lashing out. Research a bit to make yourself totally sure of what people are saying. I was visiting a French speaking forum years ago, and I spent a lot of time using translators and bugging my friends about French slang. Especially Belgian French. WTF is septante, huitante and nonante? :) Confusion ensues when different nations speak the same language.
You brought up a good point about people using acronyms or "l33t speek." If someone has a message that they deem important, they should spell out the words or phrases. If you don't understand when someone goes, "STFU NOOB, KTB." You should just ignore this person, or tell them to speak proper English so we can all understand.

Agree with you there. I guess most english speakers (first language) who have used the internet for a while know what most of these acronyms mean. If you are making a serious point about something, it's best not to use them,so that everyone will be able to read and understand.
I'd be the same as you Gloria, reading posts in France or Germany or wherever, only being able to make out the literal sense of something. If the writer used a phrase which meant something quite from the literal translation I would not know. Bottom line Gloria, if it worries you, PM a friend for a translation, or ignore it. :D
