I have been playing morrowind pretty much since it came out, and i recently began using the TES construction set to make a very big puzzle/labyrinth mod with a m8 from school. About a month ago, i loaded up the TES set + everything went normally. However, my render window is now CONSTANTLY grey. i cant see anything in it, no matter where i go or what file i load up. I have tried updating my video drivers and re-installing the TES set, but its still the same :(
I really want to get it working again so i can help my m8 carry on editing. This problem is especially annoying since i had just finished designing a load more puzzles on paper when i discovered this 'error'. please help me sort it out so i can get back to my mod. :erm: Also, we r meeting in 2 days to sort out loads of stuff, so really i need it back by then if possible :erg:
Thx 4 any ideas u have, cause im all out (all though i didnt have that many 2 begin with)

Sounds interesting. I'd like to try out a rough version of it asap!
This phenomenon happens every now and then with me, too. I find it strange it didn't fix itself after closing the TES and reopening it. Have you tried loading just the Morrowind master file to see if it atleast shows that?
If it does, then it's most likely a problem with your mod.

I suppose that you have actually loaded a cell in the render window. Often, the viewer is so far away from the cell statics that you may not be aware that they are there. My preference is to double-click on an object/NPC in the cell. That will place the viewer very close to the selected object and it is easier to get your bearings. If it is still gray, check the Windows desktop properties. It needs to be 32-bit color (possibly it was reset after installing some other software). If that doesn’t do it you may need to update your graphics drivers (oops you already tried that).

thx 4 the 32-bit tip cyrano. It has got 2 be one of the DUMBEST problems i ever heard of :nono: , espescially when it isnt mentioned on any tech-guide i checked :weird: . But it is working now. :D
As for my mod,its kinda in pieces atm. For instance, once u go in, there is no way out (yet), but that will hopefully be one of the things we sort out when we meet 2morrow. I would say that i will probably have a beta ver ready between 1week + 2 months. Soz i cant give more accurate prediction, but it mostly depends on how much i feel like doing when i can do it (Im still in school :grr: , so not too much time)
But i will post a link to my mod as soon as the beta is on a site. thx again 4 ure help :thumb:
