The Wiki is only helpful if you can get to it and unfortunately I can't.

Whats the deal with the Matinee button in the editor?
Can this be used to make in game scripted cutscenes?
I played around with it and all got was Viktoria errors.
Does anyone know anything about it?
I accidently hit that button & it brought up that scene manager. I was going to play around with it but the map I'm working on is taking my time. I'm very curious whether or not it works & why it wasn't implemented if it did work.

Are we able to merge two or more brushes together in the editor?

I really don't understand what's been going on with the wiki. In what way can't you "get to it"?

Kind of. Try the Intersect or deIntersect operations with the builder brush - it'll shrink wrap over things for you, so you can move complex things around easier. Doesn't work with portals or volumes from what I remember, but it's been a while since I tried it.
Buttons are on the left with the addition/subtraction buttons, or I think it's just Ctrl-I and Ctrl-D (like add is Ctrl-A and subtract is Ctrl-S)

It just doesn't load, and when you look at the page code all you see is three lines of code that shouldn't have any bearing on the page loading. And it wasn't just me Rantako has the problem also (only manefesting itself slightly differently). I would think it was my firewall but then I wouldn't be able to view ttlg either.
Ofcourse I have been finaly been able to get to view the wiki again. I had to try and view the user settings page from google cache in IE and creat an acount for the wiki and IE finaly allowed me to view the wiki in its entirety. Still doesn't work in Firefox. 100% :weird:
Not sure why this was happening or why this worked but I currently don't care. (And I didn't try this unorthodox solution until after I had post the above statment.)
To Ziemanskye: Thats what I thought. There's and option to merge/separate brushes when you right click them (under polygons) but I think it's just to ensure that all the polys in a brush are connected and you don't get errors because of it.
Thanks.

Personally I wouldn't use IE.
EDIT: The wiki does seems buggy w/Firefox. For example when I want to add something to the tutorials I get two copies of the list in the edit box :p

Thats the thing I tried doing all of that stuff in firefox and it didn't work.

I just got the editor so before i started messing around with it i decided i would follow the readme and make a copy of castle1 to play directly from the editor.
For some reason the game gets stuck trying to load the map. Has anyone else run into this problem.
I am using Thief loader so i have a thief3 folder and a thief3edit folder. I already renamed t3mainoptversion.exe to t3main.exe and i also edited the user.ini file.
I thought i had my bases covered but apparently not. If anyone has any clues for me or can give me the exact formatting of user.ini. I would appreciate it.

I can run the editor fine but I can only test the map if ZoneAlarm is off.
