Please please please

Cheers dude, but i need to create a store. I got me a fence to sell me metals and gems (in this part of town [bit ambitious]), but i need to buy stuff too.
Any ideas?

Still in the AI's properties add AIStore > FenceDontBuyTypes. This is pretty simple, just tick the items you do NOT want Fence to purchase from the player. It appears you must select at least one of these for the Fence to work.
Maybe there is a property you could change, as above? It could be something as simple as that.
I haven't made a store myself and I don't have T3Ed infront of me so I can only guess right now.

I gave it a crack, all seems to go well enough, but i can't select the items i want to buy. :'( I need to do something to the items themselves, you know, like set a quantity, buying price, etc. I've set the 'store window' property for each item, and then, well, then i'm stuck, like crap on cloth...

Have you tried opening one of the missions that has a shop in it and looking for any settings or properties you might be missing? The Docks has the store where you buy the climbing gloves.

Fair comment. I'll have another crack at it. Shame there is no 'tutorial' to cover this.
Thanks SS. :)

Ok, i'll level with ya. I ain't gonna crack this. No excuses, i'm just plain dumb. :'(
If anyone knows of a tutorial on 'stores' (man, fences are so much easier), i would be eternally grateful.
I remain ever hopeful...

Tiens has a working store in one of her Cabal sections, but I think the quick way to build one is actually to just copy/paste one from the OMs and tweak the collection of things on sale, because it requires a huge ammount of effort to set up manually as far as I can tell.
Lots of faffing around trying to get the right scripts on the right objects, and putting them in exactly the right position on the screen and so forth.
