Like the title said it... I wonder if anyone ever tried this with throwing knife and the regular sword as your only weapon and stealth? more like a ninja... i saw the other post about phsyco killing everything which is killable... so why not this? I'm giving it a try tomorrow :cheeky: Any comments?

You'll run out of throwing knives quite quickly. There just aren't enough to go around. Also, don't you have to wait till HK to get a sword? Or are you going to spawn one in?

he could just go melee with the baton or if he wants, a combat knife.

Good luck against the bots...

Why kill the bots if no need exists? Just avoiding their sight-line isn't too difficult.

Vandenburg could be a little difficult, though. Relying on the security bots you release is a bit risky. They might not survive all of the bad 'bots. It's not that hard to knock off the large, slow 'bots with the Dragon's Tooth Sword, though. Stay behind them, and you're fine. You can let the 'bots you release knock off the faster ones, and you're in the clear.

If "stealth" includes using Cloak, Radar Transparency, or the Run Silently augmentations, then getting by the bots would be no problem at all. The Radar Transparency canister is in the flooded room after the laser tripwires on the first floor of the main building. Killing the snipers with only low-tech is more of a challenge, without using augmentations. Maybe I'll load one of my old savegames and see how hard the map is with only throwing knives and a combat knife.

I think one could feel justified in cheating in a few more throwing knives. There are what, 25? In the whole game?

31 if I recall.. But I might have picked up ones i've used.
