Whoa. How's that going - reputedly one of the hardest instruments to learn, neh?

At least it's not the violin. It wouldn't be an orchestra without strings, but there's very little less pleasurable to my ear than the sound of a novice wrestling with a string instrument.

Learn the violin. Just don't learn it near me :D

Listening to a lot of jazz lately, mostly Coltrane a bit of Miles Davis...gotta get me more.

suli - good luck with your period on the IDF (i.e. don't get killed or mutilated, seriously). And yes, as long as you have the desire, there's always a chance you learn to play a tune or two, and a slong as you're having a blast learning, it's all good.
