I haven't been as tense in a Theif game for a long time as in some of my IM experiences. Remember trying to sneak up on the mantis near the bar in Escape!, messing it up and getting made, then deciding to hell with it and just running for the ladder up to the second floor exit. Somehow I got past the bugbest there and up the ladder, ran for what I thought was the exit only to find myself stuck in a different window or whatever it was. I was so afraid of coming down and going for the real exit because of the patrolling Ape up there. But what a relief thought to finally make it. Haven't had such tense moments in Thief in a long time :)
