Greetings,
Coming back to Thief after a long wihile away.
I have Win XP and Darkloader v4.3
I'm playing Thief II and have loaded some FMs. All's well until I try to play one of them then Iget a message to say:-
'The programme you are trying to run requires a current Indeo codec.
To obtain a current driver that is compatible with this version of
Windows, please contact the manufacturer at http://indeo.ligos.com.' it wants $14+ to purchase.
I can remember playing FMs in the past without getting this message.
I want to know is this a legitimate message or a scam?
The FMs in question is 'Seven Sisters' for Thief II by Lady Rowena. and Ominous Bequest gold by Eshaktaar also for Thief II.
Can any one throw some light on this for me please? I suspect it might be that these are relatively new FMs.
