HI guys.
I usually don´t hang out in the ttlg forums except maybe the SS2 Forum, but i picked up DX from Ebay for 6 bucks and started playing.I bought the game the first time when it came out.But somehow it froze every time at the same place and so i never finished it...
Now i am playing it for the 2nd time and i must say it is a lot of fun.I just arrived in Hong Kong.I remember being there from my first run through.But i totally forgot where to go...we´ll see how i am doing...
HA, I piled stuff up to prevent the bot from coming to close...

Ah! I never thought of doing that. Thanks for the tip I gotta go back and try this(stacking crates) :joke:

Yeah its a lot of fun isn't it... the formula they struck with DX was a real winner in my opinion, just make the game as open and dynamic as possible and there will be ALL KINDS of ways of doing things, even those the developers themselfs could have never anticipated.
Good to hear you are enjoying it. But why did it freeze at the same point every time? sounds like it was an issue with a corrupted texture or sound file or something. Maybe backing up your saved games and reinstalling could have helped with it. Anyway fingers crossed it doesn't happen again this time!

Yeah, true.
Even after playing games like HL2 and Stalker, Deus Ex still feels fresh - i don´t know what it is.Even small things like the the mirror effects on the floor make it look special.
Well, the freezing happend when the game first came out back in ...???...i dunno. It was the first version and not updated - a friend of mine borrowed it later and i never got it back :erg:
This version i bought a couple of days ago is the "Game of the year Edition" - so it should work fine. Man, i am so tired today cause i played till 1:30 am :wot: :D but i will really take my time in this runtrough.
