They kind of do as long as the AI are close enough together. [...]
Indeed ... my favored combination: Shooting a noise arrow in a corner, then waiting until the AI meeting is complete, then shooting a gas arrow at the group. If I remember right my personal record was six AIs put in the realm of dreams. :cheeky:
Alas noise arrows are rare in FMs, gas arrows are occasionally available but expensive. :erg:
It took some time before I discovered that cameras can be destroyed by fire arrows. Then all connected turrets become disabled, too. But you'll have to wait for the favorable moment since the explosion will alert AIs who are close by.

It wasn't until a couple of years ago that I started using noise arrows effectively. When Thief was first released and I started playing I was terrified of using anything that was noisy so pretty much never used them. Knowing much more about AI function and loading zones I use them all the time now. Sometimes it's fun to use them just to aggravate guards, etc. even when you don't need to use them.

Dunno if this has been mentioned already, but I JUST discovered that a moss arrow shot at the ground near a gong has a chance that one of the moss chunks will will hit the gong and make a huge gong noise! That the opposite of what I was trying to accomplish!

That's amazing. I hope more people discover that.

Today I learned that watcher from 1st floor of Angelwatch is completely indestructible. I guess it was made from the same material as golden child.
Also I was testing how many damage different weapons deal to rats. Looks like broadhead arrow is the more than 10 times effective than sword, fire arrow or even mine. But the strangest thing is that rat wasn't affected by gas mine. Looks like rats are immune to gas. I guess, if Karras would succeed with rust gas, then every living creature would die with exception of rats.

A chair? That's interesting. If that's a case I wonder what kind of furniture is disabled bot in workshop in Precious Cargo, because it's also indestructible.

I see, so it's chair again. That's funny. As for sword hitting, I did that, but it made metal noise, not wood.

-Were there any funny incidents during your work on the series?
-An incident that occurred during the development of Thief 1, when we gave a guard a 3D model of a chair. I was then quite impressed by how the chair began to behave as a guard - it hovered above the ground, but its animation looked as if it really wanted to attack us, and it had a voice to match. I felt like one of the wizards who turned the enemy into a chair, and he didn't even notice.
