I bought a used copy of Morrowind. Its the platinum hits version. At $6 I thought why not. I've seen posted everywhere about the fortify attribute cheat (w/ soultrap.) I can't for the life of me make a spell that fortifies said attributes for longer than the duration of the spell.
Fortify attribute , self, 2sec + soultrap, target, 2 seconds.
I've changed the durations to 3 on each. I'm not sure about the areas of each part of the spell, but all my reading says that it shouldnt matter. Is the PH version of Morrowind patched/crippled to prevent this? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your help

I'm pretty sure this was fixed in a patch and, because its the Platinum version, fixed on your copy too. Anyway, don't bother. If you want to make your strength high, there's an easier and faster way.
Catch Corprus. Play the main quest and you'll eventually get it during a special event. Once caught, your strength and endurance will increase every day, though I believe your willpower and intelligence decrease. Once you're cured, just using attribute restoring potions to fix your lowered stats. Your raised stats will remain raised unless brought down by enemy spells.
Thanks for the info. I figured as much, and have been a little lazy in my thanks for your time. I was wondering about whether the Platinum Hits version of the game had any of the expansion packs applied to it or not. Is there any way to tell?
Thanks.

Hm... The back of it should have screenshots of Tribunal and Bloodmoon (A guy in red armor, and a werewolf.) I can't remember what the game is called with both expansions. Gold, possibly?

Platinum hits doesn't have the Expansions. The Game of the Year (GOTY) edition does.
