My Sansa's headphone jack is acting up, the left side cuts out when the plug is bumped in a certain direction. I have no money to replace it. I don't trust my skills enough to try the DIY guides I've found on the internet, which leaves me with only one option- have someone else repair it. Would someplace like Best Buy be able to handle this?

Doubtfull. I suggest 1) Contacting Sansa direct but I am wondering if the cost is such that buying a new one wouldn't be cheaper (the Sansa Clips are great), b) go to the Sansa community forums and ask there, or C) go to anythingbutipod.com and inquire there -- very active community.

Have you tried the headphones with another sound source and/or tried the Sansa with another pair of headphones? Just to make sure it really is the jack and not the plug that's the problem.

Yes, the cassette adapter for my car, and the headphones work fine with my PC speakers.
