The movie starts this weekend. I can't wait to see it! Who is going?

From what I've read of reviews so far (avoiding the spoilers), this is a darker excursion than previously, including a very bizarre and Gilliamesque way of bringing back Jack from the dead, and has the best set pieces of the three, but more the impish humour of the first movie.
I'm very much looking forward to it, however I just realised that I've missed the post-credits sequence for both previous movies as well as not really remembering as much of Dead Man's Chest as I would like, so I'll probably rewatch them before sitting down for At World's End.

Saw it last night. I loved it the whole way through, and am frankly baffled by the negative reviews. They apparently saw a different film than the one I saw.
Definitely stay for the post credits sequence, as it's an emotional coda instead of a gag like in the previous two.

Good to know, thanks for that. I have seen some negative reviews, that won't deter me from seeing the film.

Just saw it.
At points it was quite a bit darker than I remember the previous installments being, and I was surprised at how far they pushed the fantasy elements of the story (Giant squids and undead pirates you expect, but this..)
There were a lot of ships blasting away at each other, plenty of swashbuckling and loads of gritty funny. Not to mention all the double-crossing that was floating around. :) Definitely worth seeing, though it did feel a bit long, and
the parts with snow and cold made me wonder, if the makers had ever been in an actual winter. Not only having the pirates surviving in freezing temperature with no decent clothing and with only minor humorous discomfort and toes snapping off, but seeing bare-chested Orlando Bloom shrugging the whole weather-thing off like nothing felt very silly, even for a movie like this. Winter did just end here in the north, so I still remember, how bad cold can be. :)
throw in some lesbians and vampires and you have a hit. Especially if there's lots of scantily clad Johnny Depp :cheeky: :ebil:
