A CommChat thread degenerating from nipple pinching to a literary discussion. My Internet must be broken.

No, it just got it's nipples pinched and now suffers from an erectile dysfunction related to said pinching.
Welcome.

This whole nipple-pinching business is crap. Try braiding the nipple hair.

Definitely reminiscent of Huxley's Brave New World. Have you read Brave New World, Animal Farm or 1984 (which I read for school in 1984-I'm getting old!)? These were the social commentary novels we read in school. Animal Farm was an excellent commentary on communisism which I enjoyed very much. I will have to check out The Giver. It sounds interesting.
Animal Farm is a piece of shit, how many people read it when they were actually intellectually mature? Making fun of the personalities in place is the perfect way to make fun of the system while dodging the issues.

I thought it was quite a clever novel when I re-read it after learning more about Communist Russia. The parallels were pretty good. I wonder if Orwell pinched his nipples, or had erectile disfunction (or both?)

Pinch it, then burn it.
