ok i read pilgrims path and done 6 of the seven pilgrimages but the last one in the puzzle canal has foiled me :p
i can work my way to centre of puzzle canal where there is a shrine
if i click on it it says `breath the waters of his life and the way will become clear`????
also in this room is a blocked passage with a shield/screen not unlike ghostgates walls which is unpassable.
i took a silver longsword with me but nothing happens
what iam i doing wrong
ive spent 24 hours trying to get through here and now im sitting monitoring this thread until someone helps me :eek: :ebil: :cheeky:
cant belive im stuck on it im a level 39 battle mage how embarrasing that i cant make a simple pilgrimage.

Jump in the water and wait until your health hits 0. Once you've done that the magical barrier goes down and you'll find the "real" shrine.

Hello.
OK, I'll come clean... I spent almost two IRL hours swanning about the Canals before I was depressed enough to top myself.
It's a simple puzzle once you work out that you have to "die". But I reckon the clues could have been a little more indicative of the solution for this particular puzzle.
In retrospect, the thing that nailed me was the instruction to "breath the waters of his glory" - I got stuck in a "must use Water Breathing spell" mental rut.
