This theme already caused enough antagonism between me other taffers on russian DarkFate. Actually any political theme there causes it.

Is this stuff controversial somehow? They're interesting photos anyway. I really don't get what it's all about (interesting how that's usually really far down on any media list of priorities. Although a lot of the time I guess they don't know either). Interesting that it got a fair bit of attention. They must have learned a thing or two from Chechnya (the press that is).

Most assuredly. It's a major animosity and hate provoking theme between Russians and citizens of some other ex-USSR countries. The views are totally contrary. F.e. I myself on Georgia's side. Perhaps you suspect nothing being far away, but this animosity often is worse that it was between USSR and USA back in second part of past century.

Well, it maybe illustrative except the boy didn't extend his pick beyond the bar. He only tried to fasten shoe-laces on loose shoe near it :) Actually, it's sad, and somewhat reminds operation for annexation of Finland to USSR back in 1939.
