In my current playthrough of CS I've been working extra hard to collect as many artifacts as I can. I've been crisscrossing the maps trying to cover every possible square meter with my detector. In my exploration I've come across a strange thing. At the Northwest corner of the swamps, at the collapsed rail bridge, I get a blip on my artifact detector. After spending entirely too much time, I managed to find a way to get behind the fence and up on the embankment where the blip indicates. However, there ain't nothin' there. What's going on here? Is it a glitch, or is it that the detector is detecting something underground, or what exactly? It seems a waste to spend all that effort to get around the fence just to find nothing.

:weird: I can't believe I missed the dugout, I was all over that area! I even managed to get out of bounds looking around there.
