I have never, EVER had 1 single problem either installing or playing SS2 on any version of XP.

Neither have I.
However, just because we haven't had the problem doesn't mean that it doesn't exist for others.
That said, petitionining *anyone* for a new SS2 patch is a bit of a joke.

Funnily enough, the only major problems running SS2 on XP I've ever encountered are all immediately cleared up when I install the official patch for the game.
The only consistent problem I've had is all the cinematics, aside from the intro, will almost never play in game. I suppose there is some way to fix this, but I've just been too lazy to look up how. :D
