I know I hated on NPR in the past... my local NPR has now done the best thing ever and I love them for it.

It's a NPR music station with NPR news at the top of the hour. Does not get much better than this. Genres across the board... awesomeness.

My hometown has (http://minnesota.publicradio.org/radio/services/the_current/) another one should you be interested in sampling and comparing. I stream it all the time while gaming. It's excellent, at least as far as my (underdeveloped) musical taste tells me. (http://minnesota.publicradio.org/radio/services/the_current/streams.shtml) Stream here.

No news at the top of the hour, but there's another NPR station for that.

Yes, I am listening! And reading too. :P ;) I was flipping through the stations last night, and discovered these guys again, most awesome, good timing.

When I want a "real" radio station (as opposed to Pandora or something) I tend to use Seattle's (http://www.kexp.org) KEXP, which has a very high quality internet stream and a great variety of DJ-run programs.

Of course, I can't actually concentrate while listening to music...
