Are these supported by the current version of the forum software? It would be nice for those xenophobes among us (like me) who only browse one or two of the forums, so as not to get our feed subscriptions flooded with americano politics.

Yeah, just change the feed url to be:
<a href="http://www.ttlg.com/forums/external.php?forumids=70,72">http://www.ttlg.com/forums/external.php?forumids=70,72</a>
Where 70,72 is a comma-delimited list of forum IDs you want to appear in the feed.
