I'll definitely buy Mark of the ninja along its dlc, but I was thinking of getting a PS4 to basically play nuThief, but after all the terrible news I've heard I'm not so sure... On the other hand there's MGS V, which features an open-world, stealthy and strategic gameplay elements, but knowing Hideo Kojima and his quality standards it won't come out until fall 2014
And at last there is Splinter cell: black list , but I fear there will be many scripted actions and chase moments
I'm not that much into PC gaming, but that's basically because I still got my junk laptop and I won't be getting rid of until it makes it's last breath

The Dark Mod will be standalone (no D3 required) in a matter of weeks...does that count?
Yes. I haven't played any missions since Spring, because of work and too short nights at this latitude, so I'm extra excited to try it out.

Maybe we have different ideas of what fail-safe jumping is, but in Asassin's Creed you basicaly hold down W + Shift + Space and you run on the rooftops like Alladdin on cocaine and half a blister of viagra.
Compare that with walking across the rope in LOTP or even going about in Bonehoard.

You must be better than me. I fell down on a regular basis, much more than thief, because for all the help, you're going so damn fast it's hard to make sure you're always aiming at something.
All my AC impressions come from brotherhood, Btw. No idea if there are significant differences between titles.

The parkour system has been improved in AC 3, and you now you can climb and run over trees
