PC Gamer UK just published their annual list of the Top 100 PC games of all time. Deus Ex was at Number 2 last year, but is now Number 3.

Just out of curiosity, what beat it? They don't still have Medieval : Total War as Number 1, do they? I mean, the game was great, Top 10 Material, but the Best Game Ever?

I am gradually losing all respect for PC Gamer. I have been ever since there stubborn refusal to put in Quake 2 for the last few years :nono:

Speaking personally, I could understand putting M:TW as no. 1.
I'd prefer Deus Ex, but IMO Medieval: Total War is the most amazing strategy game I've seen ... and by a very large degree too.
BTW, PC Powerplay (an Australian mag), had their top100 ... they put Deus Ex as no 4, stating that if they could ignore what their reader's were actually playing this would still be their number 1. That could be the reason right that that Deus Ex is "falling", even though being number 3 or 4 is hardly going anywhere!
(Medieval: Total War was no 2 there as well.)

Baldur's Gate 2 Rules! I think part of the problem is that people complain about the same old choices getting the top positions, hence the current order.
