(God I hope this is for the Deus Ex Game.....or else im going to be seriously embrasses :( )
I have a VERY old Preview Edition I got in a value pack about a year ago...I played it for like 3 days and gave up because it was too hard(I played then WAY to my UT) anyway.....now the version i have it 1001F and it doesnt support MP any in way......so I downloaded patch "DeusExMPPatch1112fm.exe and i unzipped it but now it wont say i deus ex.......it shows up my version and nothing else.......its installed in C:\DeusEx.......I got to get this too work becase I spent all day downloading this patch :(

I got Deus Ex the day it came out and without any patches applied my version is 1002f. If you have 1001f it sounds like you have a warez copy, I say spend $9.95 and pick up a Game of the Year copy, it will be patched up already.

I dont have a warez copy :O thats just plain bad....I got it in a offical Eidos Value pack which came with some other games.But Since it won't patch.....no MP for me...:(
Anyone else got any suggestions?
I say agian I DONT have a warez copy. its DEUS EX PREVIEW EDITION.

if its a preview edition it sounds like it's a demo that would be why its a version before the first release. I don't think you will ever be able to patch it sorry.
