I tried searching but I couldn't find anything so, you know that effect in which light shines through a window and creates this pretty blue glow effect in Theif DS? Yeah um, how do you do that?

Actor / FX / Emitter / WindowLightShaft might be a good candidate.

xD And of course its something somewhat obvious :joke: . Thanks

Open the actor browser to FX>Emitter>WindowLightShaft, place in front of window and rotate to shine in the proper direction.

Mh... and what is the window light object you can see on the floor? For example the first mission. The moonlight shows a window shine effect on the floor. Bah I hate to explain those things in english ;)

Oh, the shine on the floor is a spotlight with a projected texture on it. Open up Castle1 or some other map with the window shine and look at the lights to see how they're set up.

Mh, i want to make the Seasidemansion Lights, and I tried to do it like the ones in the mission, but... mh I have to say that i don't understand one single point of those properties ^.^

Well that's what Copy+Paste is for :D They're essentially set up like normal lights, except the FleshLightType is set to FL_Spot to make it a spotlight, then FLLightTexture is added to define the projected texture. I personally would just copy the light and then tweak the values to fit what I'm using it for. No shame in that :)

I will try that, thx.
Edit: Thx, it works fine :D
