Actually, you don't see that much negative publicity about Paris, either. You get the same "_____ fucks around a lot" jokes for either of them, and the girl isn't exactly walking around with her head held down in shame.
But the fact is, that long before Rick Solomon tape hit, all the girl was ever known for was who she fucked and how. If that takes up that much of your identity, public or private, then yeah, the term slut is pretty much a given, and deserved.
But the only one in this thread reinforcing the stereotype that this is a bad thing is you, otherwise, why are you bothering to protest so much? Get over your hang-ups and stop being such a pedant.
Is there a double standard in how the word is applied? Yeah, to some extent. But this just ain't it. You're so far off the fucking mark in this case it's laughable.
