The only family pics I currently have on the computer are old negatives scans of my grandparents from 1949. They're pretty neat, but alas...not my parents.
If I had to scan any though, it'd be their graduation and wedding pictures. The graduation pictures were done in black and white, then lightly painted over to add color. The effect is actually really subtle and kinda neat. It's also cool seeing them without the full head of grey hair they blame on me.

This is a Halloween picture, roughly dated 1915 or 1916. The arrows indicate my grandmother on the left, dressed as a man. Grandfather on the right, dressed as a woman, and then my Aunt, when she was 3. My dad wasn't even born yet. What is cool about this photo, you never see pictures like this. Hardly ever. You can make out little red riding hood, mammy black face, an Indian, a clown, a farmer, not sure the rest of them, or who they were. I love this photo.

What's cool, to me, is the fact that your grandparents were born in the 1800s as well.
My paternal grandfather was 1891, and grandmother was 1895. My oldest uncle, 1917. And my father, 1934.

I need to find the one of my dad in the 70s sitting on a chair giving a double-barrelled middle finger.
