I have to Carlin cd's both are quite recent. Although I'm a huge fan of pretty aggressive comedy (already mentioned Bill Hicks, David Cross is another good example), but I just don't see what people are on about with Carlin. Are there any shows where he actually says anything apart from swearing?

Ok, sorry if I was mistaken... its a bit tungue in cheek though so don't take it all too seriously, its late and I've been up for 22 hours... and I have another two more hours of work before I can go to bed. That blows..

really pissed off. Didn't have a good day or something..
And he of course was very much a free speech advocate, and didn't want the PC crowd controlling the use of language, since it has already been weakened enough. See this clip: (

Besides, there's really nothing wrong with swearing, at least not in the right context.

Seriously, did you expect a different answer? A simple youtube search will yield the same answer. Talking about monopoly, the death penalty, traffic accidents, airport security, awkward situations, etc.

I honestly don't know. My friend gave me a CD full of random clips, and since then I've just searched youtube randomly. Sorry, can't help you there.
