Overflow travlers bag

ok, i was wondering if anyone could help me out. at the begging of the game i killed a trader at Balmora and a today when i went in his house (ive been using it to store things there) there was this bag on the floor called the Overflow Travlers Bag..:eek: it had some alchemy stuff, a book (cant remmember the name) and an ash statue. when i took everything out, i couldnt put anything in it, not even what i took out. its really weird.:erm: . just so you know im playing the xbox version and would appreciate any help or comments i can get. thx
