Greetings!
Some time ago I stumbled up on Spector (or was it Witchboy, I don't remember) interview in which he said that the original plot (storyline on paper) of DX was much broader and longer than the one featured in the game.
Have anyone seen it? I would really enjoy reading it, maybe someone from here have connections with Warren or someone else from dev team and can request?
PS
I am new here as a member but I've been reading ttgl forums for a long time now

If I recall correctly, some information on the original plot/missions layout and what was cut is present in the (
http://archive.gamespy.com/articles/april02/dxbible/) Deus Ex Continuity Bible. I don't know if it's everything there is to it, but some of the stuff is definitely there, and it's probable that there isn't much else to be had in this regard, at least not much publicly available on the net. A must-read for any avid Deus Ex fan.
Oh, and here's a hit I got on Google that might relate to that interview you were on about:
For my part, I'm kinda glad that some of the more far-fetched locales, like the space station got, the axe. I'm fond of exciting places as much as the next guy, but I really think that the predominance of "in your back yard" kind of settings worked well in Deus Ex's case.

Thanx alot, Ostriig, I will check out the link!
you may be right about other places that were cut exept for Moscow - since it is my "back yard" lol
...and yes that is the interview I was talking about)

This usually happens in any design process. Start with a ton of ideas, and narrow it down.

Sure, but in case of DX it would be interesting to read as kind of a novel.
