All right, I searched all over the internet, looked all over the house, but still can't figure it out. For this quest (vampire hunting guild getting in quest thing) I have to go to Roland Jenseric's house, and search for clues, but I can't find any. I havn't opened a couple chests, but they are very hard to pick, and I got 1 lock pick... so it's a pain in the ass. Anyone know where the clues are? I searched everywhere, but can't find any.

Iirc the clue is some small envelope on top of a book, somewhat easy to miss.

Aye, as you enter his house there's a table in front of you, up against the wall. There should be a small note/letter sitting on top of a book, that's what you're after.

People miss it because its right by some handbills, and so mistake it for one.

I missed it because the envelope/love letter was right on top of the book.. and I read the book, not knowing there was an envelope :erm:

This is one of those quests that's actually a hell of a lot simpler than you think. I went in for a good look around, turned the place over, searched every container... then found the letter right near the front door. :erg:
BTW - does anyone know the implications of joining the OotVB? Is it just the one quest then the ability to sell Vampire Dust for 250 gold? Seems a bit of an effort to make them a proper faction just for the one quest.

yah it's just the one, kind of like the knight-errant quest(turn in black bows at the end). good for making money if you dont need to keep the dust.

Anyone finished this questline, become a vampire and gone back to them? I wanted to, but just as I was about to go back to them I realised the cure was ready, and I really HATED being a vampire.
