So farewell then, Arthur Lee
You were surely
Out
Of your tree
And later in life
Convicted of gun
Crime
But don't worry,
Forever Changes is
Still sublime
And makes up for the time
When you did
Time
(with apologies to EJ Thribb)
I don't even know much about Love (the band ... well, maybe the other thing too), but I do know that my mum played the vinyl single of (
http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=74F10E726B128778) Orange Skies an awful lot. And, indeed,
Forever Changes is a superb piece of work.
Feel free to post your own tenuous links to Arthur Lee here, in a bizarre form of internet rememberance.

The Forever Changes artwork was utterly compelling, but I never got round to buying the record. RIP.

A++ would mourn again.

Sad to hear. I'd no idea he'd died until I read this.
