I think what was being said is that there are men who are jerks but please don't think that all men are jerks. :erg:

Ercles?
Shut the fuck up.
Overly sensetive my ass.
Look, if I offended you, I'll readily apologise, as I think my origional post came accross a bit harsh (although I don't like editing that kind of thing because it fucks with continuity). So I'll try and rephrase things. Having someone do the dirty on you is bloody horrendous, and living in a college environment it's something I hear about ridiculously often. And at the same time it has really gotten on my nerves that those who get hurt spin and around and freak out at you for apparently being a dick to your girlfriend (which I can honestly say I'm not), and this myth that all men are assholes is further perpetuated. Looking back I realise that it was insensitive of me to bring it up here, and I apologise again for being rude.

Well if there is one thing that really gets on my nerves it's when girls confuse men with man. Just because one dick screwed you over (and I know it sucks having your heart ripped out your anus), please try and avoid taking it out on every member of the opposite sex within arms reach.
ercles, you are very sweet, at least because you are using the right language describing my ex (or so I hope).
I realize I can't judge all men for one bad experience, and never meant that. But some of them are real freaks, plus I was pissed off for which I apologized. I could edit and make it look remarkably just, but I don't like editing much...

Did I say that? No way. I respect freedom, and that's what I wanted to be - free to make my choice about whether I want to go on like this and thus need to accept
evrything, or not, and thus, have a right to just leave without being cought and brought back to what I've been trying to escape... Now I don't have that chance. Cause I have a heart, as well as those beautiful memories, and he's not helping by trying t stop me. It haven't been an easy desicion. That's all... And you are absolutely right - that's a myth. If I didn't sincerely believe that, boy would I be an unhappy creature :)
Ooops... a doublepost

I wouldn't have written all this...
I do not have that habbit. I hope this thread won't attract much attention anyway.
If ya ask me, I'd say this is one of those "Deep" threads that have a lot of potential for posts....but no one asks me these things....carry on...

Are you kidding? I pretty much am Hallmark.

I got the impression that Sanity has been hurt by a man (e.g. cheating on her) and is expressing her emotions about it.
Maybe ~s:a:n:i:t:y~'s chap discovered her list of interests (as seen on TTLG member (

One of these things might well make a man jealous... :erm:
~s:a:n:i:t:y~ on 5/10/2006 at 14:56
No, he hasn't discovered anything because he knew about this friendship. Besides, it was a polite responce to what BR wrote in his info first. I admit the guy is rahter jealous, though not more jealous than me, but we managed to somehow trust one anther. So - no, it's not hte reason.
C'mon, don't tell me you don't blieve in friendship between a girl and a boy?

lol.
