Well I used to live in the Russian centre of Sydney and I can confidently say I never saw any half decent women. They had a far worse case of the fat, ugly, overly made up rich women thing that you mentioned before with British women than the poms over here (who are either stone broke or snobby but quite well dressed). I'm sure it says more about the type of people who emigrate to Australia, but the point still stands that it is possible to make the wild assumptions about almost any another group of people (as StD and BR did) based on a small and skewed sample.

I had decided to be quiet for a moment and listen to my heart. And what I heard was lust for one particular person's attention and presence... I had then no other choice but give it another try. You may call it a giving up. I call it a hope. Who knows how many times it needs to forgive? There is nothing to forgive as a matter of fact... I've realized this person's only "flaw" was the habit to make his every hour busy. That's what I am not, and that was why I didn't understand it. But somehow I do now. Maybe realization that I leave him became strong enough, finally, to make me see it would be a huge mistake....
