Are you saying that judging people based on their race is wrong?
No, Judging people and/or their intentions based on their alleged fake use of Ebonics is wrong.
Here is my opinion of this: If you're right and you send her an email about it, telling her to quit or getting pissed and cussing her out is going to have the effect of giving her what she wants: A reaction out of you.
If you're wrong and you send her that email: guess what? You end up looking like the nutjob you're thinking she is. Lose-lose.
Don't send any email and there's no harm no foul. If it is her, you're denying the reaction she craves. If it isn't her, you avoid looking like a jackass.
The choice is yours to make however.

?... a little lost.
I think I get where you're coming from, but if so, it's quite a bit different than that... Reason: the person I think it might be actually has a long history with me, and so if it's her, I have to get into it. (I wouldn't be negative or critical at all... can't be. And, knowing her, I would be quite interested to hear what she has to say)
If it's not, and I decide it's probably just some person from Alabama, well... at least she has chicken.
...I'd probably contact her too, but only after finding a psychologist who can explain if there's something in particular I should say to this type of person. (I wouldn't want to just wing it, for fear of causing the person accidental great pain. I know some people just go with the first thoughtless whim: saying "What's wrong with you?! Piss off!! You seriously need to get a life!!" Fail to the bone.)

If its a person who has a long history and one you feel you have to get into,
wouldn't she just contact you? instead of faking a dumbass from alabama?
Just saying.
It now seems more likely you reading too much into this.
Unless you have something unresolved about the situation you feel you need to get resolved.
But like we've told many people who have come seeking advice.
Why on earth would you listen to us? Only you know the situation fully and can make a rational decision about what to do.
Good luck.
Dario on 14/1/2009 at 15:04
Well, I didn't actually come here to get advice on the
situation: (hence I only explained a small portion of it) I came here to see if anyone thought that language use sounded fake... I elaborated a little with my reasons for suspecting just so everyone wouldn't be
completely in the dark. (probably unnecessary though)

In a
normal situation, yeah... But as implied above, there's an ocean of history I'm not getting into, because I have that part understood. I mainly just need to know how the above lines look to other people who might be able to say, "Yes, this definitely seems fake," or "Nope, I hear those phrases all the time"...

For what it's worth, I've encountered plenty of people that truly type/write in this manner. Some of them simply can't spell even the simplest of words due to extreme illiteracy, others do it on purpose to be cute. Mostly those that do it to be cute are girls under the age of seventeen--which should tell one something.

I'm pretty sure it just came from a slow decay of language deterioration
There is no such thing as language deterioration. It's change baby, change!

Ok, for what its worth, more people than you would expect have never actually learned to put speech into text. I have one brother who when he
sends me an email, I spend an inordinate amount of time trying to discern what he's written. I mean, no capitalization, no punctuation and a complete paragraph or two of one long run on sentence. You would think he's living barefoot in a shack in the Appalachian mountains or something. But he just
never learned how to write.
Ladron De La Noche on 14/1/2009 at 23:45
Black people don't use the word "meh" online, that's a giveaway. It's not even a word really but it's not used by them and those three sentences are not ebonics or black american slang. You can never assume the ethnicity of someone typing on the 'net as it is almost impossible really. On the 'net you can be anyone you wish. ;)
