For those naysayers that complained about F3's "monotonous shades of brown" should now rejoice as this has been replaced by clarifying shades of blue!

Ugh. They were pretty good at retrofuturism until now, but this is entirely too modern-looking.
From the limited amount that I have read about the expansion, the essential gameplay will remain the same so hopefully the humour and overall style wont change too much either.

If that's what I think it is, that looks pretty awesome. On the downside, I have a feeling it's going to completely break the stealth aspect of the game unless there's a serious penalty for using it all the time.

Well duh, it's pretty obviously the Hei Gui. Especially considering the weapon the character is using.

I never had this problem with the game. At one point, I was seeing a lot of miserable blue and greyish weather (it was around November time in the DC ruins --- dunno if any actual system for the seasons is built into F3 or if it's just random) and I wanted the yellow back.
Ah, I dunno. This monotonous shades of brown thing. I don't see it that often. Even Quake where it apparently started, Quake wasn't all brown either. It had blue, green and light brown.

It never bothered my either, to be honest as I quite like the style of F3. I was just making a jest.

I did pick up the humorous note in your post... I was kind of addressing the absent naysayers. I blame Zeropunctuation... he's always going on about brown.

Anyone snag this yet? I played for about an hour tonite, my initial impressions were that it's extremely easy and overly linear. Playing the 360 version, and was able to get 2 of the 4 achievements in that same time period. I'm hoping that doesn't mean I'm already halfway through. :weird:

:bored:
Wake me up when it's available on disc with the rest of the FO3 addons (so I don't have to deal with GFWL).
