Started using the custom OpenGL renderer, but I have a little problem with it: it doesn't show the beam on weapons modified with a laser.
Any ideas as to why this happens? Any Solutions?

It works for me.
Back up your current deusex.ini, hdtp.ini, cassandra.ini, etc. and try mine. Those are the maxed out settings for most modern machines.
Change the values for MaxAnisotropy and NumAASamples to the desired number supported by your video card.
