Wait now. I'm not gonna read it again, but I thought he had no problem going into a warzone and fighting or dying for something he believed in.
I thought he left because everything he was led to believe he was fighting for was a lie--and worse.
My reading comprehension must be plummeting with age.:(

That was sort of a joke, and sort of not. What I am refering to is that war is profitable to certain people and does boost the economy in some areas, albeit driving the federal deficit sky high. Also, an old friend who works for the Federal gov't once told me, when I was complaining about the "problem," don't complain about the problem, become a part of the problem.

Besides, at least we all have a reason to be depressed, angry, and really drunk most days.
