In my desperate quest for the last few things that Raf pretends we haven't found yet, I tried to incinerate the poor wounded guard.
But, when I started my first gesture, instead of having small corlorful particles following my cursor, I got ONE HUGE PARTICLE (changing its color in loop... yellow, orange, red, magenta, blue, cyan, green...) that was still active after quiting the magic mode.
Here is a screen shot (if I had pressed PrintScreen a second time, the color would have been different).
I'm sure the bug is neither related to the spell I was trying to cast, nor to where I wanted to cast it as it started to bug right from the beginning of the gestures.
Have a look at it: nice, uh? ;)

Regarding the huge particle:
I once had the fire place (near the first lake) act up in a similar fashion. I couldn't recreate the bug/feature though: I've got absolutely no idea what I did differently from the other times I lit the fire.

Actually, I was using the same savegame as the one in which I desperately tried to throw a stone onto "the Slasher of Veil"'s head (because of some too-early April Fool  )

Its a bug. I've had it happen occassionally. The first time I encountered it I was trying to incinerate the dog (shame on me, I know), and the particle filled the room. It started changing colours and proceeded to fill all of the rooms until the game crashed to the desktop.
B.t.w. xman, its a good idea to reduce size and compress your pic before posting (some of us are still stuck with nasty 56k connections). I'm sure your aware, but in case your not, any image editor worth its weight in salt will reduce jpegs or gifs to greatly smaller sizes with very little noticable difference in quality. Then theres png...

Happened to me, too. Near the fire were the small spiders are, a solid wall of color.
Freaky!
I think it is because you can wave your magic hands behind your back and in very small gestures, I suspect an overflow error (negative size or something).

Then theres png... Yeah yeah I know. I'm personnaly using a 56K modem.
But I strongly compressed the image and it "only" takes 135Kb... That's not much... it takes less than 30 seconds to load, which is less than the time needed to read the text...
But OK. I should also have resized it, which I did for most of the pictures I posted before in the forum...
