Or you could just do what I did back when I played Oblivion and pickpocket the diary from her when she's leaving :p
I have absolutely no idea how to do that! :o I don't recall seeing it on her person anywhere, and I can't use her, like she was a frobbable AI in Thief.

Look at that beauty, eh? :D
Ewww! :joke:
Did you steal that sword from the Vampire's body guard? I did the same thing, and also nicked his shiney armor! (After killing them both and losing the quest of course) :ebil:

Actually it's just a normal ol' Dwemer sword. They show up earlier in the game with OOO on.
As for pickpocketing, you have to crouch and try to "talk" to someone.

Oh yeah... Where's the sex? :joke:

It's the latter. OIC, so she'll eventually take that Diary back then?
Yes she will, the next day IIRC.

I was kinda hoping that the game would wait until I'm ready to find where she stashed the Diary! :o
And why would she? She wants into the Guild too! :p It's one of the few quests that has a time limit once activated. Don't worry, there's a back-up quest too, and you'll be the only one vying for success this time.

Clannfears, Clannfears, how I hate you f***ing Clannfears! :D
Man, those are some tough nuts! A few head-butts from them and you're dead!
The liddle ones are easy peasy, but it's the big ones you need to watch out for! I found the best way to deal with those is to run backwards whilst swinging your sword. (Or jump on a rock where they can't get you and pepper them with arrows from an enchanted bow) Having a shield doesn't help either.

Two words: shock damage. The only way to get respect in the plane of oblivion.

I can honestly say that I think this is the only game I've played that has held my attention for so long. :D I have been playing this everyday for about 5 days now, and I haven't got bored of it once! There's just so much to see and do! I'm currently at level 20 now and those big monsters are getting easier to kill. My favourite weapons, right now, are the glass swords.
That big glass hammer looks nice. I've seen it a couple of times, but I've been unable to aquire it, as yet.
Those Clannfears bother me no more! :D
Hehe, spoke too soon about the glass hammer. I just got one after killing three huge Minotaurs in the arena! \o/

You should see Shivering Isles armor! You're definitely going to enjoy the look! :) Damn, it' so different in the realm that I already miss the environment of Cyrodiil plain and simple as it may be:)

I have a couple of problems that might be bugs, so I'm going to ask...
1) For the life of me, I can't find that Diary I need to get into the Thieves Guild. I went into her house and unlocked her chest when she was away but it's not in there and it's nowhere else inside the house! She say's that she has the diary and will take it to that dude when she gets the chance. I looked for tips on the web and it's supposed to be inside her chest!
2) When I frob that red glowing Dark Brotherhood door down in the basement, nothing happens!
What's going off?
Oh yeah, that Commentary's book 3, I think I dropped it whilst inside an Oblivion gate, which has now been destoyed. :o Do you think I'll be able to find another?

2) I had that kind of problem and I believe it was caused by Open cities mod. As soon as I installed it, there appeared some gates and doors I just couldn't get into. However, by that time I already had a key to the sewer (a shorter way to DB sanctuary) and I could still get through it successfuly. Well, I could not get out through it :p I could only use a door to get out.
The bug was removed by unchecking the Open cities mod.
