Yes, I know that his claim might actually be reasonable but oh lol this is funny anyway:

It's likely that the amount they serve would suit a normal sized person but in someone that size, yes, he'd lose weight. In the long run it's going to help him though. Perhaps he doesn't want to live long though. Hmmm, that's another issue...

What a poor man. Obviously he is suffering.
Suffering because he is in prison.
Suffering in prison because he committed crimes.
Suffering. For Crimes.
:tsktsk:
I agree with the OP's sentiment.

Yeah well perhaps you should have thought of that before you went and battered somebody to death.

fat murderers don't get seconds

While he's clearly been convicted, in the court of public opinion, of the heinous crime of being fat, he is still AWAITING TRIAL for murder, thus not yet a convicted criminal. Minor detail, I know, him being fat and all...

I'd say he has a valid case if he's a sumo wrestler, as weight loss would jeopardize his livelihood. Then again, he probably knew he put an end to his own career when he stabbed someone in the face, so I guess the point is moot.

It's not that we don't care about criminals, it's that we don't care about fat people.

That's a hell of a lot of weight to lose in that amount of time. It's pretty obvious something's wrong with the guy physically and that nothing is being done about it (unless he's lying his ass off, but then again, it's hard to lie about losing a hundred pounds).
And, as it's been mentioned, he isn't even convicted of anything; he's an innocent man. And even if he were convicted of something, the point of prison isn't to arbitrarily torture people... then again, this is the internet, so I'm going to face disagreement about that from the "do the CRIME, pay the PRICE." tough guy contingent who think that committing a crime gives the state (and everybody else) tabula rasa to do absolutely anything they want to you.
