Well, I remember watching Armstrong on television as he climbed off the Lunar Module and always thought that it made no sense.
The discovery of the "I" isn't exactly earth shattering, but between that and the fact that the Red Sox, in my lifetime, won at least one World Series before imploding completely, I can die slightly vindicated.

It doesn't really matter since the whole thing was a hoax; it was filmed in the Nevada desert. :p
;)

Don't start that now, minx.

's true! I swear it!! I know a guy who knows a guy who has a friend whose brother worked with a guy whose uncle's ex-wife's aunt's fiancee worked on the screenplay for the whole thing.
Or something.

Not just filmed, but filmed by
aliens on a set made to look like the Nevada desert in a studio somewhere on Mars. People can be so naive sometimes.

Well, I'd heard that the fiancee was a bit on the strange side.

David Cameron saved me from a shoal of hideous giant jellyfish
I assume this story inevitably involves peeing on people?

Thank god for this discovery. At least now one of mankind's greatest achievements is no longer dogged by poor grammar!

Thing is tho, without the 'a' doesn't the word man carry the same meaning as mankind? Thus rendering the sentence kind of pointless?
as in:
"that's one small step for the human race, one giant leap for the human race"
