This thread: the type of gold that keeps me coming back to TTLG forums.

Maybe it was in a signature. Something about Muppets.
Labyrinth: I thought it was a fantasy movie with Muppets.
Sig. AAGES ago. Took some serious brain-wrack time to recall that.
The Secret of Kells: The most beautiful traditionally animated film in years.

A Simple Plan - A simple plot device makes for some of the best dramatic moments in a movie in years.
Star Trek - If the Star Trek franchise was more or less dead already, this was the piss on its grave.
The Usual Suspects - A movie that stands in the popular mind almost entirely on its final plot twist, fostering the unfortunate expectation these days that all movies have to have a final plot twist and be written from the end backwards, almost none of which do as cleverly as TUS.
The Blair Witch Project - Popular pretty much just because everyone watching collectively wondered "Why didn't I think of doing this?" Foreshadowed the YouTube era, but now that we're in it, it's a practically senseless movie that offers nothing special.

A Scanner Darkly: A bunch of actors with drug histories all playing themselves to construct one fuck of a downer movie.

Either someone's got a browser window stretched across multiple displays, or you're using smaller than default text size. Either way, I think you're cheating.

That must be your computer, because the majority of entries here are more than one line on my display. So I was just following along with bullet point reviews. Mine aren't even the longest. Okay, the Usual Suspects may
just be the longest, but there are some longer than Blair Witch.

Blair Witch Project: the cutting edge of reality horror circa 1999, contents may have aged poorly.
There.

Red Cliff - John Woo is back and rivals Peter Jackson for the Epic Badass Award.
Seriously.
