Agora: A story that needed to be told and needed to be told a lot better than it was here, unfortunately.

Some people liked it, apparently... like Roger Ebert. I can't fathom what it was he found interesting in the cardboard cut-out plot and characters.
Roger Ebert can have good opinions, but he often times, and especially of late, makes a total idiot of himself in his reviews.
Just one example off the top of my head is when he said a terribly-shot and completely boring battle scene in Spike Lee's godawful
Miracle at St. Anna was "on par with
Saving Private Ryan."
Um, no.

Invictus: Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman make a movie about Nelson Mandela, bigotry and sports; even more derivative than it sounds.

Invictus: should have been made by someone that knows what rugby looks like

Alien vs. Predator: Not as dumb as I remember. Still dumb. Still lightyears ahead of Alien Resurrection Abortion Firefly Prototype Joss Whedon's Live Action Fanfiction.

Believe it was a NY Times critic re an off Broadway premier of a Play called The Cupboard, which read simply: "Bare." The epitome of concise.
