The notorious and infamous Ten Pace Boots has once again proved to hold another, secreted surprise. My mage, Bedros, was walking the Odai River quite happily, a very long lasting Water Walking spell in effect. However, to speed things up, I cast the special abilities of the boots and-
I was down. Drowning, though apparently still on the surface. It seems the magic properties of the boots reacted with my own spell! I was paralyzed, unconscious, and unable to do a thing. (That is, no buttons would work. No tab to third person, no looking around, etc.)
How very, very strange. When I tried to repeat this occurance, nothing happened at all.
Edit: No, I changed my mind. I could repeat it, as I just did. I'm trying to figure out why it happened this time, and the first time, but not the second...

hehe...silly girl (no offense I'm just in a funny mood). Doesn't ten pace boots damage fatigue? When you have 0 fatigue and lose fatigue by a large portion (eg swinging that big tribunal hammer) to reach a major negative value you will be permantly knocked out. And when you are knocked out with your feet in/on water you start drowning. Because those programmers added things you'd never expect, ok being permantly knocked out is just a bug but they thought, hey, if you are unconscience face down in water your will drown, or if you are unconscience and only your feet float while the rest of your body sinks to a watery demise you will also drown. So they programmed it that way. Very usefull if you specialise in hand to hand.
One of the many wonders Bethesda added and no one noticed, another one is all the things people can say to you in their idle state.

I don't know, if I was female I'd probably be intrigued but I'm not
Pisces on 30/7/2005 at 22:41
No, I think even if you were female you would be disturbed.
