Unfortunately I think there isnt a cure for this. I cycled though my weapons twice before I noticed it. so my armour stats were all hosed. My heavy armour was in the 80's so I did some expirementing and stood out in the wild getting attacked by half a dozen cliff racers after about an hour my heavy armour was sitting at around 50 something but it would not raise any higher. I have to assume the the pre modified score would have been mayed at 100 so it wouldnt go anyhigher. luckily I had a saved game to before I had equiped it so I only lost a couple of hours of game play. Stupid bugs. I still have to kill all the guards anytime I go into an imperial town from the bloodbath glitch. You would think there would be a way to patch the xbox version or at least they would have worked out the glitched before the ported it from PC. Guess That will tech me to buy an RPG for the xbox. I just wanted to play a version I could sit on the couch rather than at my desk to play. Sorry for the bad luck.:erg:

1 <3 j00 You can use "Fortify Attribute" spells in the game. But it sounds like what you need is to enchant a weapon with a constant effect fortify light armor spell which you can use till you get your skills back up. In theory, you can create pretty much any spell you want using the spellmaking feature. So it must be possible to create the spell I described....I haven't experimented much with magic as I prefer to rely on cold steel, so I can't say much more than that. I encourage you to go back to the game manual, there's a decent section on spellmaking/enchanting items in there which should tell you what you need to know (check out pages 35/6)
Let us know how you get on anyway!

Fortify Attribute fortifies your Attributes ( Strength, Speed etc. ) for Light Armor you would need a Fortify Skill spell. I have heard that these spells were removed in one of the PC patches, but they should still be there in the X-Box version. Look around.

Fortify Skill should be available with the XBox version as the reward for the "Threads of the Webspinner" quest. do a search for it on the boards to see more.

The web spinners quest is given by the Morag Tong Grand Master. All the spell will do is temporarily increase your skill. I recommend that you just get some money together and visit a trainer to restore your skills.

So there are constant effect spells that screw you royally then?
I've had a spell cast on me that reduced my Strength to 6 (it was in red) seemingly permanently as no matter how much I rest it's still there. The bar on the bottom left taht shows you what effects are on you (disease etc) has nothing bad on it.
What do I do? Will a dispel spell (via scroll as I'm not a mage of any sort) reverse it?
